Organizing the mass art performance "Songs connecting rivers"

The 2025 North Central Region Mass Art Festival “Songs Connecting Rivers” organized by the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa province, took place from July 8-10 in Thanh Hoa province. The festival had the participation of artisans, artists, actors, musicians, collaborators... from the Cultural Centers, Cultural - Cinema Centers of the North Central Region provinces: Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Hue City.

The units participating in the festival build a comprehensive art program, with a tight layout and a program structure that ensures two or more art forms. The festival's organizing committee encourages new works in the folk music style, imbued with the cultural identity of each region, area and locality. The program's content praises the leadership of the Party and Uncle Ho; praises the love for the homeland; the patriotic tradition of our people, the solidarity in the community of Vietnamese ethnic groups; praises the achievements in the cause of building and developing the country; promotes sea tourism , develops sea tourism products associated with promoting the value of natural resources, culture, and unique history of coastal and island areas; builds new rural areas. At the same time, the program honors and introduces the typical features, traditional cultural values, and rich identities of the provinces in the North Central region in particular and the whole country in general. The Organizing Committee awarded gold medals, silver medals and certificates of merit to groups and individuals with outstanding achievements participating in the festival.

The mass art performance “Songs connecting the rivers” is a cultural and artistic event to celebrate the country’s major holidays and anniversaries, thereby contributing to introducing the typical cultural values ​​and tourism potential of the provinces in the North Central region. In addition, the performance is also an opportunity for artisans, artists, actors and musicians in the region to learn, exchange and share experiences in order to further improve the quality and effectiveness of cultural and artistic activities at the grassroots level.
