Duy Hoa Commune inaugurated rural traffic road

(QNO) - On June 21, in La Thap Dong village (Duy Hoa commune, Duy Xuyen), the inauguration ceremony of La Chau Ky rural traffic road took place.

In 2011, La Chau Ky rural road was invested in construction under mechanism 19 of Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee. After 14 years of use, the road has seriously degraded, greatly affecting travel and trade of goods.

In May 2025, Duy Hoa commune authorities started to build a new road with a total length of 840m, a width of 5.5m, and a solid concrete surface. The total investment cost is 1.5 billion VND, of which the State supports 60% and the people contribute 40%.

The project, when completed and put into use, not only contributes to the completion of rural traffic infrastructure but also creates favorable conditions for travel and transportation of goods, promoting local socio -economic development.

It is known that after 15 years of building new rural areas, people in Duy Xuyen have voluntarily donated more ^than 335,000m2 of land and contributed more than 270,000 working days to create conditions for building new, upgrading, and expanding dozens of kilometers of rural roads and other essential infrastructure works.

Thereby, contributing to bringing Duy Xuyen to the new rural district finish line in 2020 and basically completing the goal of reaching the advanced new rural district standard by April 2025.
