Before working with key officials of Sam Son City and functional departments of the province, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Do Minh Tuan and members of the delegation surveyed the actual situation of the Sun World Sam Son Water Park Complex Project and the Sea Square Project, the landscape axis of the Sam Son City Festival.

Sun World Sam Son Park Complex is an outdoor entertainment park complex with the largest investment scale and area in the North. Sun Group is focusing its resources to speed up construction progress, striving to bring phase 1 of Sun World Sam Son Park to the finish line on schedule, serving tourists by the end of May 2024.

Reporting at the meeting, the representative of Sam Son City's leadership said: It is expected that the opening ceremony of the 2024 Sea Tourism Festival and the inauguration of the Sea Square and the landscape axis of the Sam Son City Festival will take place on the evening of April 27, 2024.

In the ceremony program, after the ceremony there will be an art program with the theme "Colorful Sam Son" and a low-altitude fireworks display.
According to the Secretary of the Sam Son City Party Committee, based on the consensus of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on the theme and structure of the art program, the Content - Propaganda Subcommittee is coordinating with Sun Group Corporation and the event organizer to complete the detailed script.
In addition, other tasks such as reception, logistics, urban beautification, environmental sanitation, information, propaganda... are being implemented by the city in coordination with relevant agencies according to plan.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Do Minh Tuan emphasized: The opening program of the 2024 Sea Tourism Festival and the inauguration of the Sea Square, the landscape axis of the Sam Son City Festival kicks off a series of Sam Son sea tourism events in 2024. This year, Sam Son City is the host and organizer, but this is a common task of the province, functional branches, and related units, not just Sam Son City. Therefore, the Party Committee, the government, and functional branches need to uphold their roles and responsibilities in performing their assigned tasks.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the drastic, creative and effective sense of responsibility of Sam Son City and the functional sectors in implementing tourism projects in the city in general and the preparation of contents and programs to serve the opening of the 2024 Sea Tourism Festival, the inauguration of the Sea Square, the landscape axis of the Sam Son City Festival in particular. At the same time, he emphasized: The spirit of organizing the opening program of the 2024 Sea Tourism Festival and the inauguration of the Sea Square, the landscape axis of the Sam Son City Festival and related events is vibrant, thoughtful, impressive and absolutely safe. Therefore, the sectors and functional units closely follow the conclusions of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to well perform the assigned tasks, organize the preliminary and final rehearsal of the program according to the agreed plan and scenario.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee noted that the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism should carefully prepare contents related to the Thanh Hoa Ethnic Culture and Cuisine Festival, highlighting the ethnic cultures and displaying products with unique identities of the ethnic groups in the province. The Department of Industry and Trade will take the lead in implementing activities to introduce OCOP products at the event.
Regarding the work of ensuring security and order, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Do Minh Tuan assigned the Provincial Police to make a master plan for activities, from security and order, traffic flow, to fire prevention and fighting... in the series of Sam Son sea tourism events in 2024, especially on the opening night of the 2024 Sea Tourism Festival and the inauguration of the Sea Square, the landscape axis of the Sam Son City Festival.

Thanh Hoa Electricity proactively builds plans to ensure safety and uninterrupted power supply for events, not only in Sam Son City but also in other localities across the province during the tourist season.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also emphasized the role and importance of information and propaganda work and requested Sam Son City to coordinate with functional branches and media agencies to effectively implement this task in order to spread and strongly attract tourists to attend the Sam Son Sea Tourism Festival in 2024 and events during the tourist season.
For the events to be successful, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Do Minh Tuan suggested that Sam Son City focus on improving the urban landscape in the direction of creating impressions and highlights.
