On July 25, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued a Decision on organizing a Documentary Exhibition to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) with the theme "Autumn of Independence and Aspiration for Prosperity". Expected from August 12 to September 18, 2025 at the National Library of Vietnam.

The exhibition is a practical activity, aiming to affirm the great significance and important role of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 in the historical process of the nation. The exhibition propagates and educates all classes of people about the tradition of patriotism, the will to be self-reliant, the desire for peace ; the achievements of the cause of building, protecting and developing the country over the past 80 years and the desire for prosperity under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh.
The exhibition also encourages the entire Party, people and army to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of Delegates, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.
The requirements for documents such as books, newspapers, magazines, pictures, maps... selected for display at the Exhibition must be highly general, rich and unique. The display form must ensure aesthetics, science, harmony, liveliness, attractiveness, suitability, economy; applying modern technical equipment and technology.
This exhibition displays 800 documents and 80 photos, providing the public and readers with authentic, vivid and rich perspectives on events, characters, as well as memorable moments in the country's important historical moments.
The exhibition is displayed in 4 parts, specifically as follows: August Revolution 1945 - The first great victory of the Vietnamese people in the 20th century (200 documents); National Day September 2, 1945 - A heroic milestone of the Vietnamese people in the Ho Chi Minh era (200 documents); Historical value and contemporary significance of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 (200 documents); Vietnam - 80 years of steady progress (200 documents)...
