In recent days, many clips have appeared on social networks of people and tourists excitedly standing on the beach of Phu Thanh ward (Tuy Hoa city, Phu Yen province) "hunting" for images and videos of planes taking off and landing at Tuy Hoa airport. This place has become one of the hottest check-in locations recently.

According to Tuy Hoa Airport, the airport currently has an average of 3 flights per day with 6 takeoffs and landings. During peak times (usually during the summer), the airport receives 5-6 flights per day from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, with 10-12 takeoffs and landings.

According to Tuoi Tre Online , there are flights arriving and departing around 8:40 - 9:15 in the morning and 13:30 - 14:10 in the afternoon.

In the morning, locals and tourists also took many pictures of takeoffs, landings, and flights of military aircraft such as L-39s and helicopters of two regiments of the Air Force Officer School practicing at Tuy Hoa airport.

Besides swimming and watching planes, visitors can also enjoy fresh seafood and steamed chicken with wine from makeshift stalls set up by locals along the beach.

Coming to Dong Tac beach with her family since early afternoon, Ms. Le Diem Nhi (34 years old, tourist from Dak Lak) shared: “A friend in Tuy Hoa took me here for lunch, especially to watch the planes fly by. What I like most is when looking towards the sea, the plane gradually appears larger, then lowers to enter the airport runway. The plane descends so I can observe the entire plane, feeling like I am about to touch the plane, very emotional”.

Ms. Mai Thi Hong Ngan (a resident of Tuy Hoa City) said that Dong Tac beach still retains its wild beauty, clear water and gentle waves.

“My friends and I come here to sit and talk, take pictures, enjoy our favorite dishes, feel the island air, and from here we can clearly see planes taking off and landing, which is very interesting,” said Ms. Ngan.
