Full story of husband killing wife and hiding body in sack in Vinh Phuc

At around 11am on November 10th , a construction worker working right in front of Tam's house detected a strong stench, so he asked around.

At that moment, Tam's brother, who lived next door, came over to check. Because the house was locked, he had to break the lock and enter, only to discover the woman's body under the bed. The incident was immediately reported to the local authorities.

Phuc Yen City Police have deployed to protect the scene and reported the incident to Vinh Phuc Provincial Police.

At 2:30 p.m. the same day, the Investigation Police Agency of Vinh Phuc Province received a report from Phuc Yen City Police about people discovering a body on the first floor, at the house of Ms. Dang Thi H. (born in 1988, wife of subject Tam), in Tan Loi residential group.

At this time, the body was wrapped in a snake sack and a plastic bag, in the process of decomposition, emitting a foul smell, and the face was deformed.

Seeing signs of abnormality, the Board of Directors of Vinh Phuc Provincial Police assigned the Criminal Police Department of the Provincial Police to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to examine the scene, conduct an autopsy and investigate to clarify the matter.

Investigation results showed that the victim was Ms. Dang Thi H.

The police identified the perpetrator as Nguyen Van Tam, the victim's husband. However, at that time, Tam was not in the area but had fled to Ho Chi Minh City.

At around 5:00 p.m. (more than 2 hours after receiving the report), the investigation force coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City Police to arrest suspect Tam in Ward 11, Go Vap District.

At 8:00 a.m. on November 11 , Vinh Phuc Provincial Police escorted and transferred Tam from Ho Chi Minh City to the Criminal Police Department, Provincial Police.

At the police station, Tam confessed that at around 8am on November 6, Tam and Ms. H. had a conflict and were arguing. He covered his wife's mouth and pushed her onto the bed. He then wrapped a pair of black pants around her neck, strangled her until she died.

To prevent the body from smelling, Tam bought sacks and plastic bags to wrap his wife's body, hid it under the bed in the bedroom, then took the victim's phone to sell and fled.

On the afternoon of November 11 , Vinh Phuc Provincial Police issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused and issue a detention order against Nguyen Van Tam (born in 1987, residing in Tan Loi residential group, Tien Chau ward, Phuc Yen city) to investigate the crime of "Murder".
