The 2025 Red Flamboyant Festival opened on the evening of May 13 at the Hai Phong City Political - Administrative Center Square (Northern Song Cam new urban area, Thuy Nguyen City).

This year's festival takes place on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the Port City (May 13, 1955 - May 13, 2025). This is the biggest cultural and tourism event of the year in Hai Phong, an opportunity to arouse pride in the 70-year journey of construction and development, affirming the position of a modern, dynamic, unique and integrated city.

From 8:10 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., a special art program with the theme “Hai Phong: 70 years of faith and aspiration to rise” will take place on the main stage. The performances are elaborately staged, bringing together famous artists such as Tung Duong, Soobin Hoang Son, Rhyder, Phuong Linh and Anh Tu with performances that are both traditional and modern, connecting the flow of history with the breath of the present.

For the first time, drone performance technology and 3D Mapping techniques will be introduced to the festival, recreating the symbols, landmarks and development journey of Hai Phong with vivid images against the night sky. The effects of light, sound and synchronized movement will bring a visual experience that is satisfying, modern and emotional.

Immediately after the art program, the city will organize fireworks displays at 6 locations: Hai Phong City Political and Administrative Center Square, City Theater, An Bien Lake (Ngo Quyen District), Duong Kinh District Administrative Center, Vu Yen Island Entertainment Area and Tien Lang District Stadium. Each display lasts about 15 minutes.

On the morning of May 13, a military parade and mass march will be held at the City Theater Square. 2,900 cadres, soldiers, students and people from all walks of life will participate, expressing pride in the revolutionary tradition and the remarkable development of Hai Phong over the past 70 years. The marching groups will carry symbols of occupations, socio-economic achievements and cultural characteristics of each locality and unit.

With elaborate and large-scale investment, the Red Flamboyant Festival - Hai Phong 2025 promises to leave an unforgettable impression on locals and tourists.
