PIPC 2025 is an international scientific event of special significance, marking the 100th anniversary of the birth of Quantum Physics - a field that has fundamentally changed humanity's understanding of the world of matter and energy.
With the successful establishment of quantum mechanics in 1925, people began to deeply understand the microscopic world and discover its great applications such as the birth of lasers, semiconductor materials and quantum computers. Quantum physics is and will continue to be the pillar of scientific and technological progress in the 21st century.
The conference gathered more than 200 delegates including scientists, lecturers, and researchers from Vietnam and countries with advanced science such as the US, Sweden, France, Germany, Japan, Korea, India, etc.
Designed as a multi-dimensional academic forum, PIPC 2025 focuses on seven major scientific areas, including: High-energy physics; astrophysics and cosmology; condensed matter physics and computational physics; quantum science and technology; materials science and semiconductor technology; nuclear science and engineering; engineering and applied physics.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Professor, Dr. Pham Thanh Huy, Vice President of Phenikaa University, Head of the PIPC 2025 Organizing Committee emphasized: Quantum physics is one of the greatest achievements of human intelligence, laying the foundation for the entire current technological era from semiconductors, lasers to quantum computers. Organizing the PIPC 2025 conference at Phenikaa not only honors the 100th anniversary of the formation and development of quantum physics, but also demonstrates our strong commitment to investing in basic science, connecting global knowledge and nurturing the passion for research in the young generation.
Towards the period 2025-2030, Phenikaa University focuses on implementing 5 strategic breakthroughs, in which scientific research is identified as the core. The governance model is in the direction of knowledge enterprises, closely connecting education - research - industry, taking learners as the center and science - technology - knowledge as the foundation for development.
Through this conference, Phenikaa University hopes to create an open academic space where Vietnamese scientists can dialogue, cooperate and contribute their voices to global scientific issues. This is also a concrete step in the journey to build Phenikaa into a leading research and innovation center in the region, linking academic research with practical application.
Affirming the importance of quantum physics and the great potential of quantum science in bringing benefits to global society, President of the Vietnam Physics Association, Professor, Dr. Nguyen Quang Liem emphasized: Resolution No. 57, an important milestone in the country's sustainable development strategy based on science and technology, especially emphasizes quantum research.

This is the basis for expecting stronger support from the Government in promoting international cooperation, bringing benefits and common development to countries. The Vietnam Physics Society continues to affirm its commitment to strengthening international cooperation, investing in science education from high school level and nurturing the young generation of physicists.
In terms of expertise, the Phenikaa Institute for Advanced Study (PIAS) plays a central role in connecting and coordinating the academic content of the conference. Under the leadership of Professor, Dr. Phung Van Dong, Director of PIAS, the unit has affirmed its position as one of the leading physics research centers in Vietnam, recognized by the international scientific community with many valuable publications in the fields of high-energy physics, elementary particle physics, astrophysics and computational physics.

Sharing the vision of PIPC 2025, Professor, Dr. Phung Van Dong said: "We expect the PIPC Conference to be held annually at Phenikaa University, becoming a familiar scientific meeting place for the domestic and international physics community. Maintaining this series of conferences not only helps strengthen international cooperation links, but also contributes to shaping the physics research ecosystem in Vietnam, where new ideas are encouraged, young talents are nurtured and basic science is respected."
PIPC 2025 is expected to become a prestigious annual academic forum, contributing to promoting research cooperation between universities, research institutes and businesses, towards building a dynamic, integrated and creative physics community in Vietnam.
