
Attending the festival were Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu, Deputy Head of the Central Steering Committee for Science and Technology Development, Innovation and Digital Transformation; Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien; leaders of ministries, branches and 600 workers and laborers.
The program aims to honor the spirit of innovation, intelligence and dedication of tens of millions of union members, workers, civil servants and laborers in the cause of building a strong and prosperous Vietnam; demonstrating the determination of union members, laborers and trade union organizations to accompany the whole country, striving to achieve the socio -economic growth target of more than 8% in 2025, creating momentum for double-digit growth in the period 2026-2030.
Within the framework of the festival, the Exhibition: "Creative Journey - Aspiration to Rise" took place. This is a space for connection and dissemination, where typical initiatives and useful solutions converge to contribute to improving quality, reducing product costs, maintaining and enhancing the Vietnamese brand in both domestic and international markets.
The exhibition "Creative Journey - Aspiration to Rise" brings together 80 booths displaying typical products, models and initiatives nationwide, spanning many key areas: Digital transformation, energy saving, environmental protection, technical innovation, education - health - public administration, services - logistics - finance...
In addition to the exhibition, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor received 114 initiatives from 29 provincial, municipal, central sectoral and equivalent labor federations. Of these, 10 outstanding authors were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; 42 outstanding individuals were awarded the Certificate of Creative Labor - a noble title recognizing outstanding contributions to the patriotic emulation movement in 2024.
Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, Politburo member and Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu expressed his joy at attending the "Creative Labor Festival 2025" organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu emphasized that after 96 years of construction and development, under the leadership and training of the Party and Uncle Ho, overcoming many hardships and challenges, especially in the 80-year historical journey of building and defending the country with the nation, the working class and the Trade Union have continuously grown, always closely attached to the nation, steadfast in fighting, creative in working, and made great and lasting contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the country.
From the practical struggle and labor, Vietnamese workers have forged precious traditional values: Solidarity - resilience, creativity - responsibility, affection - loyalty to the ideal of national independence associated with socialism.
Entering the period of innovation, the working class continues to affirm its pioneering role in the cause of industrialization, modernization of the country and international integration, directly mastering technology, operating modern production lines, contributing to improving labor productivity and competitiveness of the economy.
Closely associated with the development of the working class, over the past 96 years, the Vietnam Trade Union has affirmed its important position and role as the sole representative socio-political organization for workers; persistently protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members; and being a solid bridge between the Party, the State and workers, civil servants and laborers nationwide.
According to the Standing Secretariat, under the leadership of the Party, patriotic emulation movements launched by the Trade Union have become a strong driving force for innovation and creativity in labor production. From the movement "Good workers - Creative workers" to typical programs such as "75 thousand initiatives - Overcoming difficulties, developing" and "1 million initiatives - efforts to overcome difficulties, creativity, determination to defeat the Covid-19 pandemic", millions of initiatives, works, and technical solutions have been born, contributing to increasing productivity, improving quality and socio-economic efficiency.
To date, the country has about 4,000 innovative startups, more than 200 investment funds, 84 incubators, 35 business promotion organizations, and 20 innovative startup centers. Our global innovation index has increased from 76th in 2013 to 44th in 2024. Vietnamese workers are respected and recognized by international friends as hard-working, studious, intelligent, and ambitious. These are noble qualities, the crystallization of the cultural tradition, the spirit of overcoming difficulties, the desire for independence and self-reliance of our entire nation over thousands of years of building and defending the country.
The achievements not only demonstrate the great creativity of Vietnamese workers, but also affirm the role of the Vietnam Trade Union in accompanying, supporting and creating in the journey of building a strong and prosperous Vietnam.

During the program, Comrade Do Van Chien, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, awarded Certificates of Merit from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to 10 individuals for their outstanding and typical initiatives in the 2025 National Creative Labor Festival Program organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
Party Central Committee member, Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee Nguyen Thuy Anh and Party Central Committee member, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Dinh Khang awarded the Creative Labor Certificate of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to 22 authors with outstanding and typical initiatives.
