Honoring 3 more intangible cultural heritages of ethnic minorities in Quang Ngai

On the afternoon of June 4, the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province announced that the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just announced 3 more ethnic minority heritages in Quang Ngai province as National Intangible Cultural Heritages.

Specifically, 3 newly recognized national intangible cultural heritages include: Ca Dao art (dance) of the Co people, Tra Bong district; Nga ra (Sa ni) festival of the Co people, Tra Bong district and Ta leu singing and Ca choi singing of the Hre people in Ba To, Son Ha and Minh Long districts are included in the list of national intangible cultural heritages.

To implement the Decisions of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province assigns the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ngai province and the People's Committees of Tra Bong, Ba To, Son Ha and Minh Long districts, based on their functions, tasks and scope of management, to be responsible for coordinating with relevant agencies, units and localities to implement the management, preservation and promotion of the values ​​of the above-mentioned national intangible cultural heritages according to regulations.

It is known that up to now, in the mountainous districts of Quang Ngai province, there are 8 national intangible cultural heritages including: Dien Truong Ba festival; gong art; pole decoration art of the Co ethnic group in Tra Bong district; traditional brocade weaving; Chieng Ba performance art of the Hre people in Ba To district; Ca Dao art (dance) of the Co people in Tra Bong district; Nga ra (Sa ni) festival of the Co people in Tra Bong district and Ta leu singing and Ca choi singing of the Hre people in the districts of Ba To, Son Ha, Minh Long.
