This is an annual series of seminars co-organized by The Saigon Times, an English-language electronic publication of Saigon Times Group, in collaboration with EuroCham Green Growth Sector Committee (GGSC), ESG Committee and the Sustainable Business Transformation Alliance.
In the face of the ESG globalization trend, PTSC - a leading unit in the oil and gas, industry and energy sector in Vietnam - seriously applies Environmental, Social and Governance criteria to its production and business activities, based on 4 core values: Proactive - Trust - Sustainability - Cooperation . ESG is not only a compliance requirement, but also a strategy to help PTSC improve operational efficiency, minimize environmental impacts and strengthen corporate governance. Aiming for sustainable development, PTSC is building an ESG roadmap suitable for the specific characteristics of the industry and actively participating in domestic and foreign forums to promote cooperation and share experiences.
In recent times, following the trend of increasing the use of clean energy and reducing carbon emissions, aiming at sustainable development goals, PTSC has proactively expanded its operations into the field of offshore renewable energy, especially offshore wind power. Promoting its strengths in high-quality technical services and practical experience, PTSC is gradually affirming its position as not only a service provider, but also a potential partner in the offshore wind power project development chain. In this context, integrating ESG factors into strategic orientation becomes increasingly essential, helping PTSC improve its competitiveness and create a foundation for long-term growth.
By attending the ESG Forum with leading domestic and international experts and businesses, PTSC has the opportunity to assess its readiness in implementing ESG, identify existing barriers and discuss solutions with stakeholders to promote this process. This is also an important opportunity for PTSC to reaffirm its commitment to accompany the Vietnamese Government in the roadmap towards the goal of net zero emissions by 2050, while affirming its pioneering role in the process of sustainable energy transition in Vietnam.
