General Director and Deputy General Director of Petrolimex Insurance were dismissed.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Giang - General Director of Petrolimex Insurance Corporation (PJICO) and Deputy General Director Tran Hoai Nam were dismissed by the Board of Directors on May 16.

Petrolimex Insurance Corporation has just sent a document announcing unusual information to the State Securities Commission and Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE) regarding changes in senior personnel of the enterprise.

Accordingly, the Board of Directors of PJICO approved the appointment of Mr. Pham Thanh Hai - Chairman of the Board of Directors of PJICO - as legal representative to replace Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Giang - General Director of PJICO.

The reason is that Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Giang no longer meets the standards according to current regulations to hold the position of legal representative.

In addition, the PJICO Board of Directors also issued a resolution to dismiss Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Giang from the position of General Director. This dismissal was based on the results of the summary of votes from the members of the Board of Directors of the corporation.

Also on May 16, PJICO's Board of Directors passed a resolution to dismiss Mr. Tran Hoai Nam from the position of Deputy General Director.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Giang has been with PJICO for nearly 30 years.

Born in 1975 in Hai Duong , Ms. Giang has a Master's degree in Finance - Banking - Insurance from Nantes University (France), and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Andrews University (USA).

Ms. Giang joined PJICO in mid-1997 as a specialist in the Technical Property Insurance Department. After that, she held many important positions, such as: Deputy Head of Reinsurance Department, Head of Technical Property Insurance Department, and then Deputy General Director of PJICO.

In March 2022, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong Giang was appointed General Director of PJICO, succeeding Mr. Dao Nam Hai - who later became General Director of Petrolimex.

By April 2022, Ms. Giang will continue to be assigned the responsibility of Member of the Board of Directors at this insurance company.
