The competition aims to select sketches and architectural plans that meet aesthetic and architectural criteria, serving as the basis for implementing the project to build the Reunification Monument.
This will be an artistic work of profound historical, cultural and humanistic value, affirming the spirit of the steadfast struggle for independence and national unification, honoring the contributions of the Party, President Ho Chi Minh , revolutionary soldiers, heroic martyrs and compatriots across the country. According to the Organizing Committee, the work needs to meet the prescribed functions, creating an artistic highlight at the new administrative - commercial center of the City.
The three finalists will be exhibited and consulted by the public for 7 days at the Ho Chi Minh City Exhibition Hall. The authors will then present and defend their proposals before the Council for 3 days. The final results will be compiled from the Council's opinions and community feedback, and reported to the City People's Committee for consideration and decision.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy - Deputy Director of Long Hai Commune Public Administration Service Center - said that from July 1st until now, the center has received an average of more than 200 records and procedures per day, with nearly 300 records on July 14th.
According to Ms. Thuy, up to 70% of people who come to do administrative procedures do not know how to use the public service portal, so the government has to send 10-15 volunteers to support and guide people.
