Vietnam General Confederation of Labor visits and supports relatives of workers who suffered work-related accidents in Dong Nai

(DN) - On July 23, Deputy Head of the Labor Relations Department of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ho Thi Kim Ngan and union officials visited and shared with relatives and families of workers who unfortunately died in a work accident in Dong Nai.

The victims were Mr. NLS, residing in Tan An Commune, Dong Nai Province and Mr. NHQL, residing in Thuong Tan Commune, Ho Chi Minh City. Sharing the loss with the victims' relatives, the Union officials encouraged and hoped that the families would overcome the pain of loss. Representatives of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor presented each victim's family with 5 million VND in support and a gift worth 500,000 VND.

Earlier, in the early morning of May 26, at Phuong Nam Ceramic Tiles Joint Stock Company - Dong Nai branch, there was a work accident that killed 2 people and sent 3 people to the hospital. Immediately after the incident, the provincial authorities arrived at the scene to find out the cause and investigate the incident. The Trade Union joined the authorities to work with the company to protect the regime and rights of workers.
