Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulates new President To Lam

Russian President Vladimir Putin sent his sincere congratulations toPresident To Lam on the occasion of his election as President of Vietnam; emphasizing that Vietnam-Russia relations are developing dynamically in the spirit of a comprehensive strategic partnership.

President Putin expressed his hope that as President, Mr. To Lam will continue to promote constructive bilateral cooperation in all areas, for the benefit of the two peoples, to strengthen security and stability in the Asia- Pacific region.

Sultan of Brunei Darussalam Haji Hassanal Bolkiah affirmed that Brunei Darussalam and Vietnam will continue to maintain long-term friendship and cooperation; expressed the desire to strengthen and further deepen this valuable relationship, both bilaterally and as close partners in ASEAN.

President of the State of Palestine , Chairman of the Central Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization Mahmoud Abbas sent a congratulatory letter to President To Lam.

On the occasion of Mr. To Lam being elected as President of Vietnam and Mr. Tran Thanh Man being elected as Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam, Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh and Chairman of the Mongolian National Assembly Gombojav Zandanshatar sent congratulatory letters.

In their congratulatory letters, the Mongolian leaders affirmed the long-standing traditional friendship between Mongolia and Vietnam, expressing their belief that under the leadership of President To Lam and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, Vietnam will become increasingly prosperous and the Vietnamese people will become increasingly happy.

Affirming their readiness to cooperate closely with Vietnamese leaders to consolidate bilateral relations, continue to strengthen traditional friendship in all fields, in line with the interests of the people of Mongolia and Vietnam; Mongolian leaders respectfully invite President To Lam and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man to visit Mongolia to bring the bilateral relations to a new height, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - Mongolia diplomatic relations in 2024.
