Mr. Nghiem Van Binh, Head of the Department of Examination Management andEducation Quality Assessment (Hanoi Department of Education and Training) said that this year, Hanoi leads the country in the number of exams achieving a score of 10 in the 2025 high school graduation exam with 1,583 exams (of which Physics accounts for the most with 556 scores of 10). Compared to 2024, it increased by 668 scores of 10.

This year, Hanoi has 3 students who are valedictorians in blocks A0, A1, D1. Of these, 2 valedictorians in block A with absolute scores of 30/30 are Nguyen Duy Phong (class 12A5, Chuong My A High School) and Nguyen Tu Quyet (class 12A9, Nguyen Gia Thieu High School).

One candidate is the valedictorian of both block A1 and block D1, Nguyen Viet Hung (grade 12 English, Chu Van An High School for the Gifted) with scores of 29.75 and 29 points respectively.

According to statistics, in 2025, the total number of high school graduates in Hanoi is 119,283, reaching a rate of 99.75%. Of which, 200 high schools achieved a graduation rate of 100%, an increase of 26 schools compared to last year.

According to Mr. Tran The Cuong, Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, this is the highest graduation result in the history of the city's education sector.
