Cheap tour to Cambodia to watch SEA Games 32 attracts customers

The 32nd SEA Games will be held in Cambodia from May 5 to May 17. Understanding the psychology of many Vietnamese fans who want to go to the neighboring country to cheer for athletes competing in this biggest sports festival in Southeast Asia, many travel companies have offered a series of tours to Cambodia combined with cheering for the Vietnamese team.

Accordingly, the price of 2-day-1-night tours to Cambodia ranges from 2.6 million to 5.3 million VND. Specifically, the tour to Cambodia to cheer for the Vietnamese football team to compete with Thailand on May 11 costs 5.3 million VND. The above price includes a room at a 4-star hotel, priority football tickets, 2 Cambodian specialty buffet meals and gifts such as fan shirts, cheering kits and a meal in Vietnam.

Some cheaper tours cost less than 3 million VND, including a direct bus from Vietnam to Cambodia, a tuktuk to the stadium, meals according to the program and a night at a hotel, a Vietnamese speaking tour guide and a gift from the travel company.

In addition, there are also some more high-end tours with prices up to more than 11 million VND for a 4-day, 3-night itinerary, traveling by plane, departing from Hanoi , staying at a 4-star hotel, entrance tickets, tour guide and international travel insurance.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Thang (office worker in Ho Chi Minh City) said that he and his group of friends just spent more than 12 million VND to buy a tour to Cambodia to cheer on the Vietnamese team competing at the 32nd SEA Games.

"I have been to Cambodia a few times myself, I see this is a country with a unique culture so I really like coming here. At this time, your country is organizing the biggest sports festival in Southeast Asia, the atmosphere here will definitely be great," said Mr. Thang.

According to Mr. Thang, although he has traveled independently to Cambodia a few times, he was afraid that the SEA Games would be very crowded, making it difficult to find hotels, restaurants, transportation, etc., so he decided to buy a tour, costing less than 3 million VND.

Coming to SEA Games 32, the Vietnamese Sports Delegation participated with 1,003 members, including 702 athletes. General Director of the General Department of Sports and Physical Training Dang Ha Viet was the Head of the Delegation.
The Vietnamese Sports Delegation will participate in 31 sports with 446 events. The goal of the Vietnamese Sports Delegation at the 32nd SEA Games is to win 90 to 120 gold medals, placing in the top 3 leading delegations.
Recently, the host country Cambodia announced that all 11 participating sports delegations will not be charged any fees related to food, accommodation and transportation.
In addition to not charging accommodation fees for sports delegations attending the 32nd SEA Games, Cambodia also offers free tickets to all fans attending the games. Media agencies in the region do not have to pay for television or image copyright fees. The message "all free" was announced by the organizing committee on the official website of the 32nd SEA Games.
