As for investors, after agreeing on the work with state agencies, they must start construction. The units that promised must do it," Mr. Duoc said.
The work of removing obstacles is urgent.
According to the Government 's resolution, the resolution of difficulties and problems must meet the principles and requirements of implementation in accordance with the direction of the Standing Committee of the Central Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity.
At the same time, effectively carry out tasks and solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles for projects; clear bottlenecks, mobilize social resources; promptly continue to deploy, complete and put projects into operation, promote investment efficiency, avoid waste and loss.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Finance, both projects have 4 groups of tasks that need to be handled and resolved.
For the 10,000 billion VND flood prevention project, there are: Group of tasks related to adjusting the total investment and feasibility study to be carried out in 2 months; Group of tasks related to negotiating and signing the BT contract appendix to be carried out in 2 months; Group of tasks related to completing the project to be carried out in 12 months; And finally, group of tasks related to finalizing the implementation time according to current regulations.
For the project connecting Pham Van Dong to National Highway 1, the work groups and implementation time are similar. However, due to the problem of compensation and site clearance, the work group related to adjusting the total investment and feasibility study will be implemented in 4 months.
The 10,000 billion VND tide prevention project is more than 90% complete.
The 10,000 billion VND tidal prevention project is very important in controlling flooding caused by high tides, and proactively responding to climate change for an area of 570km² with about 6.5 million people in the right bank of the Saigon River and the center of Ho Chi Minh City. The project officially started on June 26, 2016.
Up to now, the project has completed about 90% of the volume and is in the construction phase to complete the remaining construction items to put into use.
