Ho Chi Minh City wins big at the 2023 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Cycling Race

On the morning of November 25, the final stage of the race from the campus of the revolutionary traditional house of Vung Tau City to the finish line in front of Thong Nhat Hall (HCMC) was 105km long.

This race took place in quite favorable weather conditions, creating favorable conditions for the athletes to compete with all their might. The racers continued to maintain a speed of over 40km/h, competing attractively. Today's road surface was wide, the guidance from the motorcycle team was very effective, helping the racers confidently break away. While the Binh Minh Binh Duong Plastics team was trying their best to support and protect the Yellow Jersey and the team's first place, the HCM New Group racing team was also doing its best to protect and support Le Nguyet Minh to break away in the sprints to gain more points, to shorten the gap with the Yellow Jersey Ha Kieu Tan Dai (Binh Minh Binh Duong Plastics).

In the end, Le Nguyet Minh finished first at the Ho Chi Minh City Reunification Hall. Second place went to racer Pham Le Xuan Loc (Military Zone 7), third place went to Tran Tuan Kiet (Dopagan Dong Thap ).

The organizers awarded the yellow jersey to the racer of HCM New Group team - Le Nguyet Minh.

This victory helped Le Nguyet Minh take both the green and yellow jerseys in the end. Meanwhile, Binh Minh Binh Duong Plastics won the team championship, second place went to Le Fruit Dong Nai and TP.HCM - New Group ranked third. The white jersey title belonged to racer Dang Thanh Duoc (Le Fruit Dong Nai).

This year's tournament attracted 90 athletes from 15 racing teams, competing in 3 stages from November 23 to 25 with a route of 398 km, starting in Hoc Mon district - the cradle of the Southern uprising, passing through Binh Thuan, Ba Ria - Vung Tau provinces and returning to Ho Chi Minh City at Thong Nhat Hall. Although there were only 3 stages, this year's race saw fierce competition, exciting breakthroughs requiring high expertise from professional racers.
