Hue City ranks in the top 10 nationwide in terms of 2025 High School Graduation Exam scores

GD&TĐ - Mr. Nguyen Tan, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Hue City, said that Hue City has risen in the rankings, becoming one of the top 10 localities with the highest high school graduation exam scores in the country.

This is a welcome result with improvededucation quality.

Specifically, in previous years, Hue ranked 29/63 in 2022; 26/63 in 2023; 25/63 in 2024. This year's results recorded an impressive breakthrough for Hue City, with a sharp increase in average score, bringing the locality to 9th place out of 34 provinces and cities with the highest average score in the country - up 14 places compared to 2024.

Overall, this year, the scores of many subjects of candidates taking the exam in Hue City have improved. Notably, Hue has 5 subjects in the top 10 localities nationwide in terms of average scores. Specifically, Chemistry ranked 2nd with an average score of 6.57; Math ranked 7th with an average score of 4.88; Literature ranked 7th with an average score of 7.19; Geography ranked 7th with an average score of 6.79; Physics ranked 9th with an average score of 7.14.

Compared to last year, the average scores of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature, History, and Geography remained stable or only slightly decreased. Math alone scored 4.88 points, higher than the national average of 4.78 points.

Hue City's 2025 High School Graduation Exam scores ranked 9th out of 34 provinces and cities.

The 2025 High School Graduation Exam was held on June 26 and 27, with the participation of 13,844 candidates in Hue City, following both the 2006 and 2018 General Education Programs.

According to the plan, the Department of Education and Training of Hue City and high schools will complete the recognition of high school graduation by July 18 at the latest, announce high school graduation results by July 20 at the latest, and send certificates of exam results to candidates by July 22 at the latest.

The work of receiving applications and making a list of reviewers will be carried out from July 16 to July 25. The organization of the review (if any) will be completed no later than August 3.
