Nha Trang City in the top 15 world destinations in summer 2025

On May 14, the leader of the Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Tourism Association said that according to a newly published report by the Mastercard Economics Institute (MEI), Nha Trang City ranked 11th in the list of the world's top 15 tourist destinations in the summer of 2025.

The report shows that 50% of the prominent destinations in this year's summer travel season are in Asia. Topping the list are Tokyo and Osaka (Japan), followed by Paris (France), Shanghai and Beijing (China), Seoul (Korea), Singapore, Palma de Mallorca and Madrid (Spain), along with Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). Notably, Nha Trang is the only representative of Vietnam in the list, demonstrating the growing appeal of this destination to international tourists.

A report by the Mastercard Economic Institute shows that demand for travel to Asian cities is growing strongly from tourists from Asia, Europe, America and the Middle East. In particular, tourists from the Middle East tend to choose Bangkok as their top destination, followed by New York and Phuket.
