Phan Rang-Thap Cham City: Launching the emulation movement "Join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses"

Speaking at the ceremony, the leader of the People's Committee of Phan Rang-Thap Cham City affirmed that, in the past time, despite many difficulties, the city has synchronously and effectively implemented policies for people with meritorious services, national target programs, especially supporting production development and housing support for poor and near-poor households. Along with that, the emulation movement "For the poor - leaving no one behind" has been focused on and achieved important results, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of the people. However, up to now, the rate of poor households in the city is still 0.58%, near-poor households are 1.79%; the whole city still has 16 households with temporary houses, dilapidated houses that need support to build and repair houses, which requires the joint efforts, consensus, and participation of the entire political system, business community and society so that people can soon have stable housing and rise up in life.

Comrade Chau Thi Thanh Ha, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Phan Rang-Thap Cham City Party Committee, presented a symbolic support plaque to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province.

Following the call of the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phan Rang-Thap Cham City, all levels, sectors, agencies, units, people of all walks of life, business community and philanthropists have contributed to the emulation movement "Join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" in Phan Rang-Thap Cham City with an amount of more than 1 billion VND.

Comrade Chau Thi Thanh Ha, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Phan Rang-Thap Cham City Party Committee, performed the groundbreaking ceremony for building a house for Tran Thi Thuan's family in Quarter 1, My Dong Ward.

On this occasion, officials, civil servants, public employees and workers of Phan Rang-Thap Cham City supported the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province with an amount of 668 million VND.
