Born into a family with a revolutionary tradition, from a young age, Ms. Thai Thi Tu was educated by her father in revolutionary ideals, living a useful life, knowing how to contribute to building her homeland and country. Growing up, when she was honored to join the Party and had the opportunity to work in a state agency, she wholeheartedly served the people, constantly striving and making efforts to fulfill her assigned tasks well.

During more than 24 years of working, Ms. Thai Thi Tu has held many positions: Head of the Finance Committee of Vinh Thang Commune; Vice Chairman of Vinh Thang Commune People's Committee; Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of Vinh Thang Commune People's Council; Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of Vinh Tuy Commune People's Council; Head of the Internal Affairs Department of Go Quao District (formerly)... In every position, she is always dedicated, works with a spirit of dedication, promotes her role and responsibilities, proactively improves her knowledge, and strives to excellently complete her tasks.

During her tenure as Secretary of the Vinh Thang Commune Party Committee, Ms. Tu left many outstanding marks. She and the collective built the locality from a commune with many difficulties, starting from a low point, to a commune that met the new rural standards, maintaining the title of a clean and strong Party Committee for 5 consecutive years. Under her leadership, Vinh Thang Commune has made many remarkable strides in many fields, especially in new rural construction and sustainable poverty reduction.

Ms. Tu confided: “I always respect the voice of the people. Every step of the government must be based on the wishes and interests of the people to be sustainable. What makes me happy is seeing people satisfied, the appearance of the countryside changing day by day, and people's lives clearly improving.”

After the two communes of Vinh Hoa Hung Bac and Vinh Hoa Hung Nam merged into Vinh Hoa Hung commune, the commune area became larger and there was more work, but Ms. Thai Thi Tu always stayed close to the grassroots, grasping the actual situation to have a basis for effective management. Besides economic development, she is especially interested in developing rural tourism based on the potential and strengths of the locality, focusing on building a bright, green, clean, beautiful landscape environment, ensuring social security, creating a premise for Vinh Hoa Hung commune to meet the new rural standards in the period of 2025 - 2030, becoming a livable countryside.

Along with that, Ms. Thai Thi Tu actively improved management methods, innovated working style and manners. She focused on training and fostering professional skills; enhanced the sense of responsibility of civil servants, thereby contributing to improving work efficiency in the office, ensuring that public reception work was carried out seriously, quickly and in accordance with procedures.

In serving the people, she always puts herself in the people's shoes to understand what they need, and from there, determines what the government needs to do and should do to bring practical benefits to the people. It is this way of thinking and doing that has created consensus and support from the people in implementing activities and movements in the locality.

According to Ms. Thai Thi Tu, as a commune leader, one must work according to principles, handle work according to regulations, and be reasonable so that work can be orderly and smooth. As a female leader, she is always flexible in handling work, while still being decisive and thorough in directing and operating, regularly checking and urging subordinates to carry out their tasks.
