Developing industrial parks and clusters in the far south

After implementing the 2-level local government model, with the attention of Da Nang city, the two communes of Nui Thanh and Tam Anh implemented synchronous solutions to create momentum for industrial parks and clusters to continue to develop.

In Nui Thanh commune, there are currently 114 industrial production projects invested in the area, with a total investment of more than 40 trillion VND; there are 1,090 industrial production and business establishments operating in the area, creating jobs for thousands of workers.

In Nui Thanh area, Nam Chu Lai 1 and Trang Ton Industrial Clusters have been put into operation. Nam Chu Lai 2 Industrial Cluster with an area of ​​73.9 hectares has been approved for investment by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Nam Chu Lai 1 and Trang Ton Industrial Clusters have had 16 projects put into operation with a total investment of VND 281.83 billion, creating jobs for 1,315 workers. In 2024, the industrial and construction production value in Nui Thanh commune is estimated to reach VND 65,800 billion, an increase of more than VND 7,200 billion compared to 2020.

In Tam Anh commune, there are 9 investment projects in the area with a total capital of nearly 5,000 billion VND, including the investment project to build Thaco Chu Lai specialized agricultural and forestry industrial park, the investment project to build and operate infrastructure of Tam Anh - An An Hoa industrial park, Tam Anh 1 industrial park, and Vina Korea industrial park.

From 2020 to present, the locality has announced land recovery with an area of ​​670 hectares, of which 457 hectares have been recovered.

According to Mr. Tran Van Truong, Chairman of Tam Anh Commune People's Committee, the key and spearhead industries in Nui Thanh and Tam Anh play an important role in the local economy. For Tam Anh, the work of site clearance has been done well, creating favorable conditions for businesses to carry out projects in the area.

In reality, the automobile mechanical industry, mechanical manufacturing and supporting industry of Truong Hai Group, beverage production, electronic components... of enterprises in Bac Chu Lai Industrial Park, Tam Hiep Industrial Park... along with industries and occupations such as agricultural and forestry product processing, garment processing, dyeing... in industrial clusters have contributed a large proportion to the structure of industries, creating resources to promote local socio-economic development.

To continue creating development momentum for industrial parks and clusters in the area, Nui Thanh and Tam Anh communes have proposed many specific solutions in site clearance and investment promotion, creating favorable conditions for businesses to operate.

In particular, focus on consolidating and perfecting the apparatus for compensation and site clearance work to ensure effective and professional operations with a high sense of responsibility. Closely coordinate with investors in planning and implementing planning for projects in the area.

Localities review and propose to the People's Committee of Da Nang city and competent authorities to adjust and supplement mechanisms and policies on compensation, site clearance, and resettlement support in accordance with practical requirements.

The communes also focus on mobilizing capital from many sources to invest in the construction of essential technical infrastructure works such as completing the technical infrastructure of the Chu Lai - Truong Hai Port Industrial Park and Port Logistics, Tam Quang Industrial Cluster. Expanding cooperation, joint ventures and associations to develop production and business; organizing meetings and dialogues with enterprises to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles in production and business activities.

For Nui Thanh - a key industrial area, the goal by 2030 is to strive to achieve an occupancy rate of over 90% for industrial clusters.

Continue to expand and complete the infrastructure of Nam Chu Lai and Trang Ton Industrial Clusters. Prioritize calling for investors in the fields of construction materials production, processing, preservation of agricultural products, food, goods transit, warehouses, mechanics, electronics, and refrigeration.

Along with that, well implementing site clearance work to serve projects in Chu Lai Open Economic Zone, contributing to creating momentum for the development of industrial parks and clusters in the area.
