
On the morning of December 12th, the Hai Phong Department of Industry and Trade, in collaboration with Amazon Global Selling Vietnam, organized a workshop titled "Hai Phong Businesses Breakthrough in Exports with Amazon".
The workshop aims to support the business community in accessing cross-border e-commerce and expanding direct export channels to global consumers.

At the workshop, representatives from the Department of Industry and Trade provided an overview of policies and programs supporting the development of e-commerce and exports within the industry, contributing to the effective implementation of the National E-commerce Development Master Plan for the period 2021-2025 and the city's action plans.
Hai Phong is a major economic , industrial, and logistics center in the northern region, with a modern and integrated transportation and logistics infrastructure, playing a crucial role as a gateway for import and export activities nationwide.
In recent years, the city has maintained a high rate of economic growth, being the only locality to achieve double-digit growth continuously for 10 years. By 2025, Hai Phong's GRDP is estimated to increase by 11.81%, total export turnover will reach over 50 billion USD, and cargo throughput at the port will reach approximately 213 million tons.

Speaking at the seminar, Ms. Ngo Thi Bich Thuan (Natalie), Director of Strategic Market Development at Amazon Global Selling Vietnam, said that Amazon is opening up many opportunities for Vietnamese businesses in general and Hai Phong businesses in particular to develop B2C exports directly to global consumers.
Amazon Global Selling Vietnam has been implementing support programs specifically for local businesses, ranging from knowledge training and consulting on store operations, logistics, and digital marketing to brand building and compliance with international standards.
Mr. Bach Hong Son, Business Director of Megaficus Company, also analyzed lessons from the successes of Vietnamese businesses on the US Amazon market, thereby pointing out key factors that help sellers achieve sustainable growth and gradually conquer the billion-dollar market.

In addition to the thematic presentations, the workshop also included a Q&A session between Hai Phong businesses and Amazon Global Selling experts, focusing on the right startup strategy for new sellers, product selection, brand building, operational optimization, and addressing logistics and digital marketing issues.
Support service providers also offer one-on-one consultations, connecting businesses with experts to resolve challenges in the process of implementing sales on Amazon.
