Organizing a national mass art festival in residential areas

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just issued a decision to organize the National Residential Mass Arts Festival.

The festival's content aims to praise the Party, Uncle Ho, love for the homeland, people and love between couples; praise the tradition of national solidarity, the tradition of revolutionary struggle, and the cultural tradition of the typical ethnic group of the homeland; criticize bad habits, backward customs, and practice a civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals and festivals; commend good people, good deeds, the spirit of solidarity and mutual assistance in the community; actively contribute to building a cultural life at the grassroots level in the cause of building, developing and defending the Fatherland.

At the same time, introduce and promote cultural identity, customs, folk songs, folk dances, traditional musical instruments, and traditional costumes of ethnic groups across the country; promote the image of a dynamic and united residential community.

The festival consists of 2 competitions. The competition "Shining Journey - Connecting residential culture" introduces typical examples of individuals or groups in the movements of the whole people uniting to build a cultural life, joining hands to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas, preserving and promoting national cultural identity in residential areas.

The art performance is a comprehensive art program of singing, dancing, music, and musical scenes, including singing, dancing, and music. Each group stages at least 5 performances with local characteristics.

The festival will take place from November 15 to 19, 2025 in An Giang province.
