Thu Duc City recruits additional students for grade 6 at Tran Quoc Toan 1 Secondary School

On the afternoon of July 15, the Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City (HCMC) announced the plan to recruit additional students to grade 6 at Tran Quoc Toan 1 Secondary School. This is one of three secondary schools in Thu Duc City that recruit students to grade 6 using a competency assessment test.

According to the Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City, based on the actual enrollment situation, the Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City announced additional enrollment at Tran Quoc Toan 1 Secondary School for the 2024-2025 school year for students with admission scores of 57 or higher.

According to Mr. Nguyen Thai Vinh Nguyen, Head of the Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City, the subjects and conditions for participating in additional enrollment are admitted students who are actually residing in Thu Duc City, have participated in the enrollment survey for grade 6 at Tran Quoc Toan 1 Secondary School in the 2024-2025 school year and have no survey scores of 0.

The admission score is the total score of the 6th grade entrance exam.

The Admissions Council of Tran Quoc Toan 1 Secondary School is responsible for reviewing and receiving admission applications according to the above instructions.

Time to receive admission documents is from 8:00 on July 16 to 17:00 on July 19 at Tran Quoc Toan 1 Secondary School. After the above time, if the student does not submit the admission documents, Tran Quoc Toan 1 Secondary School will remove the name from the admission list. The application includes: Birth certificate (copy), student identification code notification.

Previously, the Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City officially announced the admission scores for grade 6 at 3 schools: Tran Quoc Toan 1 Secondary School, Hoa Lu Secondary School and Binh Tho Secondary School. The specific admission scores are as follows: Tran Quoc Toan 1 Secondary School has a benchmark score of 59.25 points; Hoa Lu Secondary School has a benchmark score of 53.25 points; Binh Tho Secondary School has a benchmark score of 49.50 points.

In the 2024-2025 school year, Tran Quoc Toan 1 Secondary School will enroll 9 grade 6 classes (including at least 4 integrated English classes) with 315 students.

Hoa Lu Secondary School recruits 11 6th grade classes (including at least 2 integrated English classes) with 385 students.

Binh Tho Secondary School recruits 8 grade 6 classes (including at least 3 integrated English classes) with 280 students.
