Joint Statement between Ho Chi Minh City and the World Economic Forum
Mr. Børge Brende, President of WEF, affirmed that Vietnam is one of the economies that has clearly demonstrated a spirit of dynamism and strong breakthroughs in recent years.
Not only a "rising star", Vietnam is also gradually becoming an important driving force of the global economy thanks to its impressive growth rate, increasingly complete innovation ecosystem and increasingly clear role in the world supply chain.
In a global context that is becoming more complex and interdependent, the establishment of the Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC C4IR) is of strategic significance, contributing to the transformation of emerging technologies into practical solutions.
The center will be a bridge between research, policy testing and application implementation, creating positive impacts for both Vietnam and the region.
"Vietnam is gradually creating a more prosperous future, not only for Asia but for the whole world," said Mr. Børge Brende.
