Tran Thi Thanh Thuy first appeared on the field in the Turkish National Women's Volleyball Championship

After many days of waiting, main striker Tran Thi Thanh Thuy entered the field in the match between Kuzeyboru Club and THY (Turk Hava Yolları) in the third round of the Turkish National Championship on the night of October 19. In the previous two matches, coach Mehmet Bedestenlioglu of Kuzeyboru Club did not use Tran Thi Thanh Thuy. After appearing on the field, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy did not have much room to perform. The star of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team mainly took the first step. Thanh Thuy could not help Kuzeyboru Club turn the situation around in set 1. THY won 25-18 in the first set.

Thanh Thuy was withdrawn from the court at the beginning of set 2. The star of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team did not score any points during her time on the court. Kuzeyboru played better in this set and won 31-29. However, after that, Thanh Thuy's team lost the next 2 sets and ultimately lost 1-3 to THY.

This is Kuzeyboru's third defeat against THY in 2024. Earlier this year, they lost 2 matches to THY. With the latest defeat, Kuzeyboru is in 8th place in the Turkish Super League standings with 1 win and 2 losses.

As for Thanh Thuy, the star of Vietnamese women's volleyball, she is facing fierce competition for a position at Kuzeyboru Club. Coach Mehmet Bedestenlioglu prefers to use two main strikers, Ayse Curuk (Türkiye) and Margarita Kurilo (Russia).

In addition, according to the regulations of the Turkish National Championship, each team is allowed to have a maximum of 6 foreign players, but only 3 foreign players can play on the field at the same time. This also affects Thanh Thuy's chances of playing when she has to compete with other foreign players of Kuzeyboru. In addition, the spiker of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team is also in the process of adapting to the world's top-class volleyball environment.

According to the match schedule, Kuzeyboru will meet Aras Kargo Club on October 22. This match will be an opportunity for Thanh Thuy to continue playing.
