Teacher Tran Thi Bich Ngoc
Speaking to VietNamNet, teacher Tran Thi Bich Ngoc (born in 1991), homeroom teacher of class 1/4 at Hoa Khuong 2 Primary School (Hoa Vang District, Da Nang), said that this painting was the idea of her and her colleague Phung Thi Huynh Hien. The two teachers just completed the painting on February 2.
Ms. Ngoc said that because this year is the year of the dragon, she decided to draw the animal of the year to celebrate the new year.
The work of the two teachers received many compliments.
“The dragon is considered a symbol of growth and luck, so we wanted to draw it to wish for a new year of prosperity for the children and their families. The students really liked the painting and were very excited. Just by joking that she was erasing the board, the whole class begged her to keep it,” the female teacher happily said.
It took the two teachers about 3-4 days to complete this painting: “We started drawing this week, taking advantage of our free time like breaks to draw, sometimes drawing after school .”
Ms. Phung Thi Huynh Hien - Art teacher, Hoa Khuong 2 Primary School, is the main painter.
Ms. Ngoc is the assistant, and the main artist is Ms. Phung Thi Huynh Hien - the Art teacher.
This is not the first time Ms. Ngoc has drawn on the board. Ms. Ngoc shared that although she is not an art teacher, she often uses colored chalk to decorate the board on holidays, Tet, anniversaries, etc. When she draws, the students are very excited to watch.
Students enjoy taking pictures with paintings
The drawings are simple but colorful, Ms. Ngoc hopes that through them, she will be able to connect and become closer to her students as well as create excitement for them when coming to class. “I want to create a close, familiar feeling and hope that the students will be more interested in going to school ,” Ms. Ngoc said.
