Awarding 40 scholarships and gifts to students and women in difficult circumstances and those who have overcome difficulties

(CT) - On the afternoon of June 17, the Ninh Kieu District Women's Union held a ceremony to award scholarships and gifts to outstanding students and women in difficult circumstances who have overcome difficulties in the district, on the occasion of the 24th anniversary of Vietnamese Family Day (June 28, 2001 - June 28, 2025).

Ninh Kieu District Women's Union gives gifts to women in difficult circumstances and exemplary women who overcome difficulties.

At the program, the leaders of the Ninh Kieu District Women's Union presented 16 scholarships (each worth VND500,000 in cash and 10 notebooks) and 24 gifts (each worth VND500,000 in cash) to students and women in difficult circumstances who have overcome difficulties. The total value of the scholarships and gifts is more than VND20 million, drawn from the "For Poor Women" Fund of the District Women's Union.

This is a regular activity of the Ninh Kieu District Women's Union to help and create conditions for students and women members in difficult circumstances to overcome difficulties and rise up in life; contributing to spreading the spirit of "mutual love and support", building a "warm, happy, progressive, civilized" Vietnamese family.
