Awarding over 43 billion VND in scholarships for talent and learning encouragement to new students in Da Nang

On September 24, at the opening ceremony of the new school year 2025-2026, Dong A University, Da Nang, dedicated the Cherry Blossom Scholarship Fund with a total value of more than 43 billion VND to award scholarships for talents and study encouragement to new students in 2025. This is a meaningful gift for students who overcome difficulties, study well, and continue their dream of going to university.

Of which, there are more than 200 talent scholarships for students with high entrance results in the 2025 admissions, including full scholarships with 100% of the entire course tuition, partial scholarships including 50% of the entire course tuition and 30% of the entire course tuition; thousands of study encouragement scholarships worth 7 million/scholarship to support students on the first day of school.

At the same time, at the program, more than 110 Vietnam-Japan Bridge scholarships, scholarships from the Chinese Consulate General in Da Nang and accompanying business scholarships were also awarded to excellent and hard-working students of all majors.

At the program, the final awards of the 2025 Dong A University Student Scientific Research and Startup Competitions were also officially honored and rewarded. In particular, the 2025 Student Startup Competition, with the theme UDA Startup Innovation 2025, witnessed the brave and intense competition of 15 competing groups with potential and creative startup products and projects in the final round.

In particular, AI and technology are applied by groups in the project stages with the goal of realizing them into models and products of practical value. 20 students with excellent academic achievements in the 2024-2025 school year were also recognized and rewarded on this occasion.

It is known that on this occasion, Dong A University has spent nearly 6 billion VND from the Cherry Blossom Scholarship Fund to award hundreds of valuable scholarships for talents and study encouragement to new students studying at Dak Lak Branch.

On this occasion, the city leaders awarded Dong A University the Emulation Flag of the People's Committee of Da Nang City for the unit with outstanding achievements in the city's patriotic emulation movement for the period 2020-2025.
