Attending and chairing the event were Mr. Nguyen Van Trung, Consul General of Vietnam in Pakse; representatives of the Vietnam Business Association; representatives of the Vietnamese Association in the 4 Southern Lao provinces and a large number of overseas Vietnamese living and working in these 4 provinces. This is the concern of the Party and State leaders and especially of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue for the community, our compatriots and overseas Vietnamese in the 4 Southern Lao provinces; demonstrating the consistent and consistent policy of "The Party and State of Vietnam always consider the overseas Vietnamese community an inseparable part of the Vietnamese ethnic community".

At the ceremony, the Vietnamese Consulate General in Pakse presented more than 2 tons of gifts, including 8 laptops, 1 projector, 400 boxes of colored chalk, 400 boxes of white chalk, 400 grid boards, 2,000 square notebooks, 1,000 story books, 40 sets of Vietnamese language learning equipment, 40 sets of primary school math teaching equipment and 400 school bags to the Vietnamese community in 4 provinces of Southern Laos.

In a solemn atmosphere, the Consulate General of Vietnam in Pakse commended the activities of the Vietnamese associations in the four southern Lao provinces for actively supporting and caring for the lives of the Vietnamese community; requested the Vietnamese Association in the four southern Lao provinces to effectively use the gifts of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, improve the quality of education and teaching for overseas Vietnamese children in the area; widely propagate to the Vietnamese community the significance and concern of compatriots in the country for overseas Vietnamese; hoped that the Vietnamese community in the southern Lao region would be supportive, loving, and strive to develop, contributing to constantly fostering the "great" friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.

Representing the Vietnamese community in the four southern Lao provinces, Mr. Dong Cong Dung, Chairman of the Vietnamese Association of Champasak Province, expressed his deep gratitude to the attention of the Party and State, especially National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, who has always shown affection and concern for the development of overseas Vietnamese in southern Laos; and promised to use the above gifts for the right purposes and effectively.
