Ho Chi Minh City Creative Award is a typical award of the awards considered and presented by the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to authors and groups of authors with research works, solutions and creative works that effectively contribute to the development of Ho Chi Minh City in all areas of social life.
This time, the Organizing Committee received 292 products for consideration. The Award Council of 7 fields met, gave comments, made public assessments and selected 60 products to submit to the City-level Award Council for consideration and decision on the award structure according to regulations.
As a result, 51 products were considered for the 4th city-level innovation award in 7 fields: Economic development, National defense and security, State management, Communications, Literature and arts, Science and technology, and Creative startups.
Specifically, in the field of Economic Development, the Organizing Committee awarded the First Prize to the Ho Chi Minh City River Festival of the City Department of Tourism along with 2 Second Prizes and 6 Third Prizes.
In the field of National Defense and Security, the first prize went to “Application of information technology and electronic data in detecting, investigating and handling violations and negative acts in the field of vehicle inspection” by a group of authors from the Ho Chi Minh City Police. The Organizing Committee also awarded 3 second prizes and 2 third prizes to the winning products.
There was no First Prize in the State Management field. The Second Prize was awarded to the product “Ho Chi Minh City Digital Citizen Application” by the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Center; in addition, there were 5 Third Prizes in this field.
In the field of communication, the first prize went to the program Pho Day 12/12 by a group of authors from Tuoi Tre newspaper. The second prize went to a group of authors from Nguoi Lao Dong newspaper with the program “Proud of the National Flag”. The organizing committee also awarded 4 third prizes in the field of communication.
The first prize in the field of Literature and Arts went to the play “Comrade” by the Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association. The organizing committee also awarded 3 second prizes and 5 third prizes in the field of Literature and Arts.
In addition, the Science and Technology field has 2 Second prizes and 7 Third prizes; the Creative Startup field has 3 Second prizes and 3 Third prizes.
Speaking at the award ceremony, Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc commented: Ho Chi Minh City Innovation Award is a noble and prestigious award of the city to honor agencies, units, businesses, and individuals with initiatives, projects, and creative works, making practical contributions to the city's development.
The award contributes to encouraging and arousing the spirit of enthusiasm for work, competition and creativity among the city's people, thereby successfully implementing the goals, targets and tasks of socio-economic development according to the Resolution of the 11th City Party Congress, term 2020-2025.
In order for the Innovation Award to spread more widely and improve its quality, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc requested that Party committees and authorities at all levels step up dissemination, propaganda, awareness raising and implementation among cadres, party members, union members, association members and people of breakthrough policies and strategies for science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation.
In particular, units and organizations deploy and orient creative products with focus, key points, potential and strong fields to enhance the competitiveness of creative products; need to focus on creative ideas to serve the construction of e-government, digital government, improve the quality of urban government construction, and effectively carry out administrative reform...
Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc believes that: Collectives, individuals, and people of the city will have more ideas, initiatives, solutions, projects, and works of better quality, more outstanding, and higher achievements, contributing to building a livable city, worthy of the name Ho Chi Minh City - Heroic City.
On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee launched the 5th Ho Chi Minh City Innovation Award 2028.
