Awarding Literature and Arts Prizes to 32 authors with outstanding works

Comrades: Giang Thi Hoa, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Chairman of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association; Ly Thi Phuong Dien, Head of the Economic - Budget Committee (Provincial People's Council) awarded the second prize to the authors.

The 4th Dien Bien Provincial Literature and Arts Award, 2019 - 2024 period, was organized seriously, methodically and ensured under the direction of the Provincial People's Committee. The Award received the participation of a large number of members, collaborators and authors from other provinces. The Award attracted 52 authors with 189 works in 7 majors according to the rules.

According to the evaluation of the Organizing Committee, the works submitted to the Award ensure the requirements of ideology, politics and culture, are accurate and convincing, closely follow the political tasks of the province, promptly and deeply reflect the cultural, social, defense and security identity of the province, practically serving the cause of innovation and modernization of the homeland, country and people of Dien Bien. In particular, many works have been invested elaborately and meticulously, expressing the spirit and serious attitude of the authors, attractive form, profound content reflecting the quality of creative labor of literature and art, closely following the reality of contemporary social life and innovations in the homeland of Dien Bien and high artistry... Most of the award-winning works have been displayed, exhibited, won regional awards and awards from Central Professional Associations.

As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded the 4th Dien Bien Provincial Literature and Arts Award to 32 authors with excellent works; including 7 first prizes, 7 second prizes, 7 third prizes and 11 consolation prizes.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Vu A Bang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, requested: The Literature and Arts Association and artists of the province continue to do a good job of propaganda and political and ideological education, thoroughly imbuing members with the views of the Party, the State and the province on literature and arts in the new situation. The Literature and Arts Association plays a core role in orienting and encouraging artists to stick to reality, connect with people's lives, protect and promote the fine traditional cultural values ​​of the nation, absorb the quintessence of world literature and art, direct creation towards the values ​​of truth - goodness - beauty, meeting the needs of enjoying rich and diverse spiritual culture of all classes of people. Pay attention to training and fostering the association's staff, especially young staff. After the ceremony, it is requested that the press agencies, departments and branches concerned closely coordinate with the Provincial Literature and Arts Association in many forms of promoting and widely introducing the award-winning works to the public.
