Over 630 international cruise ship tourists visited Ha Long.

Following the arrival of the cruise ship The World in Ha Long in mid-June, on June 27th, Ha Long International Cruise Port continued to welcome the cruise ship Blue Dream Melody carrying over 630 tourists from China. This is the first time the cruise ship Blue Dream Melody has visited Ha Long Bay, and it will continue to operate this route in the coming months.
The Blue Dream Melody cruise ship docked at Ha Long International Cruise Port from 8 am to 6 pm on June 27th, bringing over 630 tourists to visit Ha Long Bay, experience city tours to famous tourist attractions, and explore local cuisine and traditional culture. This was the first time the Blue Dream Melody cruise ship visited Ha Long and will continue to operate this route in the coming months. Previously, in mid-June, Ha Long welcomed The World cruise ship, registered in the US, bringing over 170 luxury tourists mainly from the US and Europe. This was The World's first return to Ha Long since the Covid-19 pandemic, and it was also the longest-duration cruise ship in Ha Long during the 2023-2024 cruise season. The tourists, who also own the apartments on board, are millionaires and billionaires belonging to the top 1% of the world's population. Since the beginning of the year, Quang Ninh has welcomed approximately 50 international cruise ships carrying 40,000 tourists from the US, Europe, and China.Quang Ninh is considered to have a significant competitive advantage in the cruise tourism market both domestically and in Southeast Asia, thanks to its diverse and attractive experiences, synchronized transportation infrastructure, and especially its dedicated international cruise port. This creates favorable conditions for Quang Ninh to attract and promote international cruise tourism even during the summer months – which are not typically the peak season for cruise tourists in Vietnam. From the beginning of 2024 to the present, Quang Ninh has welcomed approximately 50 international cruise ships carrying 40,000 tourists from the US, Europe, and China.
