Co Huong resettlement area is built on top of Poom Phai hill. The stilt houses of the Thai ethnic group stand out, sturdy among the mountains and forests.

Co Huong resettlement area is built under the Project to arrange and stabilize residents in areas at high risk of flash floods, landslides in mountainous districts in the period of 2021-2025 of Thanh Hoa province. The completion of electricity infrastructure, clean water, and internal roads creates favorable conditions for people to settle down.

Ms. Lo Thi Doan, a resident of Co Huong, said: “My family has 4 people, the main occupation is farming. Having a stable house and no longer having to worry about the rainy season, we feel more secure in working and taking care of our children."

No more worries about landslides, no more storms disrupting life, people now feel secure in building a warm home, cultivating peaceful days. The new houses are not only a place to shelter from the rain and wind but also a symbol of peace and hope for each family.
