
Ms. Do Thi Quyen "inspires" her students with a passion for English.
In 2004, after graduating from Hong Duc University with a major in English Pedagogy, Ms. Do Thi Quyen was assigned to work at Ngoc Khe Secondary School, then transferred to Le Dinh Chinh Primary and Secondary School. From October 2015 to present, she has worked at Le Dinh Chinh Secondary School.
With the idea of making students love learning foreign languages, pass exams with high results, and know how to apply them in practice, she has proactively innovated teaching methods, boldly applied information technology to lectures; combined with assigning homework to students to consolidate key knowledge and practice skills. In addition, she also proactively researched documents, actively participated in training courses to improve professional qualifications and skills. She applied new knowledge and skills in accordance with the psychological characteristics of students. Thanks to that, her English lessons became lively, helping students to be interested in learning.
Ms. Do Thi Quyen shared: "Class time is too short for students to practice listening, speaking, and writing skills, while most of the time students spend studying at home is without a guide. Therefore, many students find English difficult to learn and learn to cope. Understanding this, I always accompany, encourage, and motivate them. I proactively design lessons for the lessons in the style of "learning while playing - playing while learning" to create excitement to help students absorb knowledge easily and have the motivation to continue studying."
In addition to teaching, Ms. Do Thi Quyen was also trusted by the school's Board of Directors and the Department of Education and Training of Ngoc Lac district to train excellent students in English for many years. With her dedication and scientific teaching methods, the team of excellent students in English of Le Dinh Chinh Secondary School, trained by Ms. Quyen for many years, won high prizes. In the 2024-2025 school year, in the provincial cultural subject competition for excellent students at the secondary school level, she had 2 students win prizes; 26 students won prizes in the provincial Internet English Olympic competition, including 8 first prizes, 4 second prizes; 1 student won 2 medals in the national Internet English Olympic competition...
“To successfully nurture gifted students, teachers must be passionate, dedicated, and persistent in researching and updating new knowledge. In particular, they must find appropriate teaching methods for students to acquire knowledge. In addition, teachers must create a stable mentality for students when entering competitions,” Ms. Quyen shared.
Outside of class time, teacher Do Thi Quyen always actively responds to emulation movements "Good worker, creative worker", scientific research associated with innovation in teaching methods. Over 20 years of work, she has had 4 experience initiatives, of which 2 initiatives achieved B and C grades at the provincial level.
