On the morning of November 24, Quang Tri province held a launching ceremony for the campaign “Quang Tri’s solidarity towards the people of the Central and Central Highlands” to mobilize resources to support affected households to quickly overcome the consequences of historic floods. Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Phuong and key leaders of the province attended.

Previously, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province issued a letter calling for support for people in the central and Central Highlands regions who suffered damage due to floods, stating: In recent days, people in the central and Central Highlands provinces have been heavily affected by exceptionally heavy floods, causing serious damage to people and property.

Quang Tri province is also a locality heavily affected by natural disasters in 2025, but with the attention, support and encouragement of Party and State leaders, central ministries, businesses, philanthropists... up to now, basically households in the province have stabilized their lives and gradually restored production.

However, people in the central and Central Highlands provinces are currently struggling to cope with the consequences of the historic floods. The kindness of every citizen in the country will be a source of encouragement for people in the severely damaged areas to soon overcome the great loss of life and property.

With the spirit of "Quang Tri solidarity, the less fortunate help the more disadvantaged", the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province and the people of the province promote the tradition of humanity, sharing, and supporting flood-affected people to overcome difficulties.

"Every heart and sharing, no matter how small, is extremely precious, contributing to helping the people of the Central and Central Highlands regions gain more confidence, motivation, and conditions to stand up after the storms and floods, and soon rebuild a new, peaceful life" - The appeal letter reads.

In recent days, in residential areas, on social networking groups, many people in Quang Tri have contributed money and goods to help people in severely damaged areas in Gia Lai, Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa. Some groups have made salty foods that can be preserved for a long time such as: dried fish, dried shrimp, salted lemongrass meat... to send to people in flooded areas. Some volunteer groups in Quang Tri have transported many shipments to the flood center to promptly distribute to people.

Quang Tri people make dry and salty food to send to Phu Yen and Khanh Hoa with all their hearts to share the difficulties caused by natural disasters.
