Workers look for job information at Thanh Hoa Employment Service Center.
Diversify information channels
One of the highlights of the center is its proactive and flexible approach to labor market information. In order to meet the increasingly diverse needs of workers and businesses, the center has synchronously deployed many forms of propaganda, consultation and support. Since the beginning of the year, more than 170,000 people have accessed information about the labor market, employment and related policies of the center. Of which, more than 130,000 people have accessed through online platforms such as fanpage, zalo application, youtube channel and email - fast, popular and effective tools in the digital age. Along with that, about 48,000 people have received direct support via phone, bulletin board, media marketing and at regular and mobile job exchanges.
The diversity of media forms not only helps workers easily access suitable job opportunities but also contributes to raising awareness of labor policies, employment, unemployment insurance, vocational training and labor export. From there, workers have more basis to choose sustainable jobs, and businesses have more advantages in recruitment.
Not only does the center focus on “bringing information to those in need”, it also focuses on bringing employment services closer to the people by strongly applying digital technology . Regular consultation sessions, livestreams, and career guidance videos have helped workers, especially in remote areas, access information quickly, accurately, and reliably. This is also a suitable direction in the digital transformation process in the labor and employment sector that the province is promoting.
Timely forecast of labor supply and demand
From the consolidated information platform, the center continues to promote its role as a “sensor” of the labor market through data collection and analysis. The unit has surveyed and updated the labor fluctuation situation and recruitment needs of 2,084 enterprises, including 1,927 enterprises in the province and 157 enterprises outside the province.
Through the survey, the total recruitment demand reached more than 83,800 workers, clearly reflecting the picture of job supply and demand in Thanh Hoa and neighboring areas. The group of unskilled workers and primary and intermediate technical workers accounts for a large proportion, the recruitment requirements are mainly no experience or less than one year, the common salary is from 8 to under 10 million VND/month. This shows that the local job market is moving actively, suitable for the ability and qualifications of the majority of workers.

Along with capturing data, the center also supports businesses in recruitment and job communication, creating a close connection between the two sides of supply and demand. Businesses appreciate this coordination, because through the center, they save time, costs and recruit workers more suitable to production requirements.
In particular, since the beginning of the year, the center has supported recruitment postings for 356 businesses and contractors that need to use Vietnamese workers to replace positions expected for foreign workers with a total recruitment demand of 1,604 workers, showing a positive trend in prioritizing domestic human resources and improving the competitiveness of Vietnamese workers.
From these results, it can be seen that forecasting and information collection work does not only stop at statistical goals, but also aims to analyze and forecast market trends, helping state management agencies to make policies, and at the same time create a data platform for businesses and employees to be more proactive in future planning.
Expanding sustainable employment opportunities
When information is updated accurately, the connection between businesses and workers becomes more effective. The center has maintained a network of regular and mobile job exchanges, helping to bring job opportunities to localities. Each transaction session attracts hundreds of businesses and thousands of workers, with a high success rate of connection, especially in the fields of garment, footwear, electronics and food processing.
The center also coordinates with vocational schools, vocational education and continuing education centers, and local authorities to organize mobile career counseling and job introduction sessions. This is an effective form of support to help workers, especially rural youth, have clear career orientation, improve skills and access to sustainable employment.
Not only supporting domestic job search, the center also expands cooperation with labor export units, introducing job opportunities in high-income markets such as Japan, Korea, Taiwan... Diversifying opportunities helps workers have more choices, businesses have more human resources, and localities stabilize the job market and increase social income.
In line with that chain of activities, digital transformation is considered by the center as a strategic step. Online platforms do not only provide recruitment information, but also allow workers to submit applications online, look up job positions, and register for consultation right on their phones. This not only saves costs but also demonstrates a modern, close-to-the-people, transparent and convenient public service model.
Director of the Employment Service Center Le Hong Hao said: “In order to effectively forecast and inform the labor market, we are shifting from “reaction” to “proactivity”, from “information” to “analysis and action”. When data is standardized, regularly updated and effectively exploited, all labor and employment policies will have a more solid practical basis, helping to flexibly manage economic and social development.
With the motto "Flexible forecasting - expanding job opportunities", the center aims to continue expanding the information collection network, strengthening cooperation with businesses, improving in-depth forecasting capacity and promoting the application of digital technology in labor market management".
