External information work has been consistently and comprehensively implemented by Party committees, government agencies, departments, and mass organizations at all levels in the province, focusing on key areas and achieving practical results, contributing to the successful fulfillment of the province's political tasks. All levels, sectors, localities, and units in the province have closely coordinated and played an active role in state management of external information; diversified communication activities; and flexibly and creatively utilized social media to promote the image of Dak Lak as a province rich in identity, with great development potential, unity, and a reliable and attractive destination for domestic and foreign investors.

Specifically, the departments and agencies have effectively carried out people-to-people diplomacy and border defense foreign relations, contributing to building and strengthening the special solidarity and friendship between Dak Lak province and Mondulkiri province of Cambodia. They regularly coordinate to closely monitor the situation in border areas, mountainous regions, and ethnic minorities; and advise and coordinate the effective implementation of mass movements and models for border protection such as: "Self-management of border lines and markers," "Self-management of security and order in villages and hamlets," and "All citizens participate in protecting national territorial sovereignty and border security in the new situation."
In addition, agencies and units coordinated to organize many mobile propaganda sessions, compiled and distributed propaganda materials on territorial sovereignty , national border security; prevention and control of illegal immigration, smuggling, and trade fraud; and prevention of illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism also coordinated with local Party committees and authorities in border areas to regularly disseminate information on the Party and State's foreign policy; the results of border demarcation and monument placement; promote the image of Dak Lak province; and combat false information on the internet…
One of the significant and practical events in the field of external information dissemination was the conference on external information work and border sovereignty propaganda, which was recently organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Provincial Border Guard Command and local authorities in early December 2025 in Ea Bung border commune. Attending this event, officials responsible for information dissemination and external information, as well as local residents, were informed about regulations on managing external information activities; some basic contents on international integration and defense diplomacy in the new situation; prominent world and regional situations; and the province's overall external information activities.

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hiep, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that the external information work has achieved some outstanding results, and the awareness of Party committees, government agencies, departments, political and social organizations in the province, as well as the staff and civil servants, about the role of external information work in the new situation has been increasingly enhanced. In the coming time, the Department will continue to effectively implement the coordinated programs No. 5115/CTr BTTTT-BTLBP, 3341/CTPH-BVHTTDL-BĐBP, and 1166/CTr-STTTT-BCHBĐBP, in accordance with the specific characteristics of border and coastal areas; and promote the dissemination of the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws on external information work and border, sea, and island issues to the people of all ethnic groups in the province. Simultaneously, coordinate with relevant sectors and units to continue implementing the contents of the cooperation program in culture, information, sports, and tourism in border and coastal areas.
