On the morning of April 11, at the Department of Planning and Investment, the Provincial People's Committee held a conference to implement the decision to appoint Ms. Thai Thi Thu Huong as Director of the Department of Planning and Investment. According to Decision No. 439/QD-UBND dated April 10, 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee, Comrade Thai Thi Thu Huong, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Thai Thuy District Party Committee was transferred to work at the Department of Planning and Investment, appointed to the position of Director of the Department of Planning and Investment from April 10, 2024, with a term of appointment of 5 years.

Comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the conference.

Presenting congratulatory flowers, comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the qualifications, experience, capabilities and contributions of comrade Thai Thi Thu Huong; at the same time, emphasizing that the Department of Planning and Investment is one of the important sectors of the province, therefore, in her new position, comrade Thai Thi Thu Huong needs to continue to cultivate, strive, practice, and promote the capabilities and experiences gained from previous positions to better complete the assigned tasks.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Ms. Thai Thi Thu Huong and the Party Committee, the Board of Directors, officials, civil servants and employees of the Department of Planning and Investment to immediately carry out a number of key tasks, namely promptly and promptly deploying key projects of the province and the country in the area; advising on synthesizing solutions to serve the development of the province; managing and allocating resources reasonably to create momentum for the development of the province; advising on effective implementation of investment attraction, paying attention to removing difficulties for approved investment projects; reforming administrative procedures in the investment sector to ensure transparency and create the most favorable conditions for investors.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the leadership, cadres, civil servants and employees of the Department of Planning and Investment to create favorable conditions for Ms. Thai Thi Thu Huong to perform well her assigned tasks; continue to uphold the spirit of solidarity to build a strong agency, successfully completing the tasks assigned by the province.
