Wooden doll work with the theme "Dragon snake up to the clouds"
In the first area of the exhibition, visitors will be able to admire 32 beautiful dolls depicting a variety of characters from children to adults, with scenes from everyday life to drama. All dolls are meticulously crafted by the talented hands of many artisans over many years, each artisan will be responsible for a separate stage in the process. These dolls all have high artistic value and are often given as gifts on special occasions.

The work "Emperor Jinmu"
In the second area of the exhibition, visitors will be able to admire unique wooden Kokeshi dolls provided by the Tsugaru Kokeshi Museum. Kokeshi originated in the Tohoku region (Northeast) of Japan in the 19th century and were often sold as souvenirs for children in hot spring towns in the region. Each town crafted its own line of Kokeshi, with its own unique patterns and techniques. 12 lines of Kokeshi will be displayed in detailed comparison, in various sizes, along with modern Kokeshi models, including 5 models inspired by Vietnamese culture.
At the opening ceremony of the “Japanese Dolls” exhibition, visitors can also try on traditional Yukata costumes, practice Origami and have the opportunity to receive extremely cute paper dolls.
