Eliminate the source of gun manufacturing components

On the afternoon of November 21, the Criminal Police Department of Quang Nam Province Police said it was investigating and prosecuting Le Ha Nam (33 years old, in Tam Loc Commune, Phu Ninh District, Quang Nam), a suspect in possession of a large number of components for gun manufacturing.

According to the investigation results, Le Ha Nam took advantage of registering a business to buy and sell household electrical appliances at his home in Dai Dong village (Tam Loc commune) to create a cover to store components for manufacturing and assembling guns and register sales channels on social networks to supply goods to many people nationwide.

Nam bought components to make and assemble guns from many different sources, mainly from abroad, stored them at home, then sold them on social networks.

On average, Nam has sold more than 1,000 orders of components to many people in localities across the country each month.

At the time of inspection, the authorities discovered and temporarily seized more than 1,500 components of various types used for manufacturing and assembling guns such as: trigger parts, air pumps, pressure gauges, laser lights, sight covers, air pumps, air pumps, etc.

According to the leader of the Criminal Police Department of Quang Nam Province Police, Le Ha Nam's purchase and sale of components for manufacturing and assembling guns was carried out with very sophisticated tricks, under the guise of selling electrical appliances.

Buying and selling on social networks is mostly done anonymously, using fake nicknames. The subjects make agreements and transactions secretly to avoid the authorities, so the investigation faces many difficulties.

Regarding the case, the Criminal Police Department of Quang Nam Province Police has clarified 8 related subjects in many localities in the province, confiscating 8 guns, 800 bullets and components for manufacturing and assembling guns. These are the subjects who bought components from Le Ha Nam to manufacture and assemble guns for use.

Quang Nam police are continuing to expand the investigation of the case.
