Continuously leading the rankings after 3 days of competition with a total score of (-5), Nguyen Trong Hoang entered the final round with high expectations.

With a total score of 67 – 71 – 72 – 77 after 4 rounds, Nguyen Trong Hoang was crowned the champion of Vietnam Amateur Open 2025. Only 1 stroke behind the champion, Ho Anh Huy, with a total score of even par (68 – 76 – 72 – 72).

Based on the results on the rankings, Nguyen Trong Hoang and Ho Anh Huy will be the next two faces representing the Vietnamese golf team to attend the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand.

At the Vietnam Ladies Amateur Open 2025 (VLAO), Thai golfer Marisa Tojal played excellently, becoming the champion with a total score (+2) after 3 days of competition (75 - 74 - 69).
