Trong Tan, Dang Duong, Viet Hoan tell stories of memories in "A Country Full of Joy"

A special art program will take place on the evening of May 24 at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace - Hanoi.

At the press conference, singer Trong Tan shared: "On the occasion of April 30, many major programs of the State take place, so the artists and producers decided to postpone the program to May. 2025 is a special year for the country, we - the people who tell historical stories through music think that organizing before or after April 30 has the same meaning of turning to the Fatherland, marking and cherishing the heroic past that our nation has gone through".

“The Country Full of Joy” is likened to a musical march, recreated by the red music trio for the audience, evoking a journey that soldiers of the past took from the north to the south, from hardship to the joy of victory, a harmony connecting the two regions of the homeland of Vietnam.

In addition to the main character "Tam ca", the program also has guest singer Anh Tho.

"The Country is Full of Joy" is the third live show of the famous red music trio.

Paired together by People's Artist Quang Tho - the teacher from the 1998 National Professional Student Singing Contest, Trong Tan, Dang Duong, and Viet Hoan have gone through a musical journey of nearly 30 years together, leaving many deep impressions in the artistic life and becoming a revolutionary music singing trio loved by audiences of many generations.

Although each person has their own path and achievements, every time they form a "trio", Trong Tan, Dang Duong, and Viet Hoan are always extremely in tune with their emotions, technically perfect, and blend in every melody, earning the admiration of the public. "The Country Full of Joy" is the third live show of this "Red Music Trio".

At the press conference, the artists said that the musical repertoire of the show following the journey "A Country Full of Joy" will certainly be the most popular songs that the Trio has successfully performed such as: "The Road We Go", "Hang Quan Giua Mua Xuan", "Love Song", "Hanoi - Dien Bien Phu in the Air"...

The program cannot be without songs that are familiar to the audience: “Happiness day and night”, joyfully and radiantly with “The country is full of joy”, “Songs from the city named after Him”, “Wild orchid branch”…

Musician Son Thach, the program's music director, said: "The live concert will not show off techniques or effects, but will focus entirely on enjoying the music, bringing a space reminiscent of past memories, leading the audience through each stage of the marching footsteps of Uncle Ho's soldiers to liberate the country."

During these historic April days, artists such as Trong Tan, Dang Duong, and Viet Hoan all participated in many national commemorative programs held in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and many other localities. The artists shared their joy, pride, and emotion at performing in a special historical atmosphere.

Musician Viet Hoan said: “During my performances, I had the opportunity to meet many historical witnesses, visit many historical sites, listen to stories of the past and deeply understand the silent sacrifices of soldiers for the peace of the nation. When I sing, I often put myself in the position of the soldiers, and sing in a way that makes the audience truly love the talented people who went to war, fighting to protect the homeland.”

Artist Dang Duong tells the story of how he loved revolutionary songs since he was a child and believes that revolutionary music has chosen him. After more than 30 years of singing revolutionary music, the artist believes that to sing revolutionary songs well, one must read a lot and have a deep understanding of the nation's history.
