This is the next exhibition after the exhibition "Thang Long - Hanoi , heritage connection and convergence" successfully held at the Summer Palace (Beijing) in May 2024.
Speaking at the exhibition, Director of the Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center Nguyen Thanh Quang said: "Hanoi and Beijing are two ancient and beautiful cities, with many similarities in culture and history. Hanoi is the thousand-year-old capital of Vietnam with unique heritages such as the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, Hanoi Old Quarter, and the Temple of Literature. Beijing is one of the oldest cities in the world , currently having 8 world cultural heritages with many famous places, such as: Beijing Forbidden City, the Great Wall, Summer Palace...".

Officially establishing cooperative relations since 1994, up to now, the cooperative relationship in many fields between the two cities has been constantly strengthened, actively contributing to the friendly relationship between Vietnam and China.
The exhibition "Oriental Treasures, Beijing's Famous Gardens" is a cross-exhibition activity between the two heritage sites of Thang Long Imperial Citadel (Hanoi) and Summer Palace (Beijing). The exhibition marks the effective cooperation between the two units in preserving and promoting the precious cultural heritages of humanity.
The exhibition selects and introduces more than a hundred photos of 11 famous historical gardens in Beijing and the Chinese Garden Museum, including 4 world heritage sites: Summer Palace (Di Hoa Vien), Temple of Heaven, Jingshan and Zhongshan Park.
The exhibition hopes to provide visitors with a diverse perspective on historical gardens, such as: royal gardens, temple gardens, specialized gardens, urban parks, and museum gardens, etc., demonstrating the quintessence of traditional Chinese gardening art from previous dynasties and its conservation and development in the modern urban landscape of today's capital Beijing.

The exhibition contributes to promoting heritage and enhancing cultural exchange and cooperation; promoting cooperation between the two heritage sites of Thang Long Imperial Citadel and Summer Palace, between Hanoi and Beijing.
The exhibition opens to visitors from September 11 at exhibition hall N14 - Thang Long Imperial Citadel (Hanoi).
