Regiment 892 provides funding to support officers and soldiers under the model "Warmth of the rear"

Colonel Cao Minh Tam, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, presented financial support to families of officers and professional soldiers in difficult circumstances.

Promoting the effectiveness of the "Warmth of the Rear" model, in 2025, the Party Committee, the Command of Regiment 892, the Military Command of An Giang province organized the "Warmth of the Rear" art performance night.

The unit has received the sharing, attention and support of local Party committees, agencies, departments, branches, unions, businesses in the area and the contributions of officers and soldiers in the whole unit with a total support amount of over 200 million VND and 12 houses.

From the donated fund, the Party Committee and Command of Regiment 892 reviewed and agreed to support 40 families of officers, professional soldiers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers with difficult economic circumstances to stabilize their lives.

At the fund handover ceremony, the Party Committee and Command of Regiment 892 awarded funds to support house construction for 12 families (each house worth 30 - 50 million VND) and provided cash support to 28 families of officers, professional soldiers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers in difficult circumstances throughout the unit.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Quang Hoa, Political Commissar of Regiment 892, presented financial support to families of non-commissioned officers and soldiers in difficult circumstances.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Quang Hoa, Political Commissar of Regiment 892, An Giang Provincial Military Command, said: After more than 10 years of implementing the "Warm Homes" model, Regiment 892 has raised nearly 2.2 billion VND and 66 "Warm Homes for the Homes".

Thereby, the regiment supports more than 200 families of officers and soldiers in difficult circumstances, contributing to taking good care of their material and spiritual lives, consolidating a solid rear to create conditions for officers and soldiers to work with peace of mind, always accepting and completing all assigned tasks well.

"This is a typical "Smart Civil Service" model of the provincial armed forces, enthusiastically supported by the Party Committee, local authorities, businesses and philanthropists, creating great motivation to encourage officers and soldiers of the unit, contributing to the successful completion of assigned tasks," said Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Quang Hoa.
