China and South Korea still top the list of tourists coming to Vietnam.

The National Tourism Administration has just announced the national tourism situation in April. Notably, the data shows that the number of international searches for Vietnam tourism since the beginning of the year has increased by 10% -25%, ranking 7th in the world.

Cambodia is in the top 10 largest tourism markets of Vietnam.

According to the National Tourism Administration, China continued to be the largest market sending visitors to Vietnam last April with 1.95 million arrivals (accounting for 25.4%). South Korea ranked second, reaching 1.58 million arrivals (accounting for 20.6%).

Next is the Taiwan market in 3rd place (440,000 visits), the US in 4th place (323,000 visits).

The top 10 largest markets for Vietnamese tourism are familiar countries such as Japan, Australia, India, Malaysia, Thailand... In particular, Cambodia is in the top 10 with a total of 280,000 visitors to Vietnam in April.

Several nearby markets in Southeast Asia are growing rapidly, including the Philippines (+98.3%), Cambodia (+79.6%), and Laos (+44.7%).

Markets in Europe continue to grow steadily, including markets that enjoy unilateral visa exemption policies such as: UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden...

Notably, tourism market monitoring data also shows that the Russian tourist market is emerging with an increase of nearly 112%, making this country the market sending the most tourists to Vietnam in Europe. More than 166,000 Russian tourists came to Vietnam in the first 4 months of the year - higher than the UK, France and Germany.

Outstanding tourism policy makes tourists flock to Vietnam

The National Tourism Administration said that with a flexible visa policy and many favorable conditions for tourism, Vietnam is becoming a bright spot on the world tourism map, loved and chosen by tourists from all over the world.

Data compiled from travel trend tracker Google Destination Insights shows that Vietnam has the 7th highest destination growth rate globally.

Accordingly, the number of international searches for Vietnam tourism from the beginning of the year until now has achieved a growth rate of about 10% -25%, ranking 7th in the world.

Top 10 cities in Vietnam most searched by international tourists include: Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi , Da Nang, Phu Quoc, Nha Trang, Hoi An, Vung Tau, Da Lat, Phan Thiet, Hue.

Vung Tau and Ninh Binh are the two destinations that recorded the highest growth (up over 75%). The markets that are searching the most for Vietnam tourism are the US, India, Australia, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, UK, Taiwan, Malaysia, Hong Kong.

The number of international visitors to Vietnam in April reached 1.65 million. Since the beginning of the year, the total number of international visitors to Vietnam has reached 7.67 million - an increase of 23.8% over the same period last year.
