Quick information on the tourism situation during the 4 days of Independence Day, on the afternoon of September 2, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang city said that the total number of visitors coming to visit and have fun reached more than 620,000 - an increase of 24% over the same period in 2024.
Of these, international visitors reached nearly 170,000 - an increase of 49%. Domestic visitors reached more than 450,000 - an increase of 17%. Total tourism revenue reached more than VND 2,200 billion - an increase of 28% over the same period in 2024.
The average room occupancy rate in Da Nang is 55 - 60%, of which the occupancy rate of 4 - 5 star standard accommodation and equivalent is 65 - 70%. Many hotels along the coast and in the eco-countryside have an occupancy rate of over 80%.
In the 4 days from August 29 to September 1, Da Nang airport welcomed 687 flights, an average frequency of 137 flights/day (an increase of 18.4% over the same period in 2024).

Of these, there are 395 domestic flights (up 22.7% compared to the same period in 2024), 292 international flights (up 14.7% compared to the same period in 2024). The total number of flights to Chu Lai airport is 34 - equivalent to the same period in 2024.
Some tourist areas and spots that welcome a large number of visitors include: Sun World Ba Na Hills tourist area, Nui Than Tai hot spring park, Mikazuki, 365 VinWonders Nam Hoi An water park, Hoi An ancient town...
As planned, on September 3, the Star Voyager cruise ship with 1,500 tourists will visit Da Nang city.
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang city, thanks to good preparation of activities and 24/7 staffing, the holiday was safe and the tourism industry continued to record growth.
Notably, during the Independence Day holidays, Da Nang was in the top 2 most searched destinations on the online room booking platform Booking.com.
